The Wide Turn Toward Home

Green Bay’s own Scott Winkler will be give a reading and lead a discussion from his short fiction collection The Wide Turn Toward Home on Saturday March 20, 2010 from 2-4 PM.  The reading and discussion are free, open to the public and all are invited to attend.

Winkler's collection of short stories is set in Wisconsin and use baseball as the lens through which we examine his characters' lives. With titles like "Burning Gorman Thomas" to "The Genuine Article", readers are sure to enjoy relating to familiar Wisconsin baseball memories.
